The Moon and the Sea

Play by | August 11, 2013

I saw the moon
bow before the sea
bestowing her diamonds
in an attempt to
calm her riptide
high
low
high
low
splash
splash
the surface glitters
the moon illuminating
and bold
yet the waves
never falter
’til the sea cried
to the moon
“never can you
bring me to
sleep.”

Tomorrow Night

Fiction by | October 3, 2010

He pulled her hand hastily and brought her to a dark alley away from a lonely lamppost.

They walked deeper and deeper towards the shadows until total darkness enveloped them.

He pinned her to the wall, his lips devouring hers, gentle and fierce, then suddenly her tongue forced its way into his mouth. For a moment she felt surprise, then he responded to her excitement. Dilaw na Yapos

Poetry by | August 16, 2009

Dapithapon

Poetry by | November 16, 2008

Pagod na ang araw
Sa pagmamasid sa luntiang
lupain.
Kasiyahan at hinagpis
itim at puti
paglaya at paglisan
pagbangon at pagkalugmok
pagtangis
buntong-hininga
lahat ay pauli-ulit.
Kaya siya’y hihimlay muli
sa likod ng asul na kabundukan
at sa kalangita’y ipipinta
ang pulang anino
nagbabasakali sa paggising niya’y
may pagbabago.
